We have welcomed a new member to our team this month, Ryan Danby.

Ryan joins us as a Junior Architect and will play a key role in the practice, working on both residential and commercial design projects.

For the past six months Ryan has been freelancing for the practice and has made an invaluable contribution to our projects. Therefore, it gives us great joy to welcome Ryan to Vakota full time.

Originally from Connecticut, Ryan graduated in 2017 from Roger Williams College with both a B.S. of Architecture and Master of Architecture.

While pursuing his studies, Ryan worked with architects in CT, MA and RI on small residential projects through to international architecture competitions.

Since moving to NYC Ryan has focused on high-end private residential projects as well as collaborating on furniture design and other industrial design pieces.

A few words from Ryan himself: “I am honored to have been given the opportunity to work with such a talented team of people. The range of projects that are delivered by the practice will allow me to expand my skills base and I’m looking forward to taking on challenging projects. It’s an exciting time to join a successful practice and be part of its growth story.”
