Our client found the house back in 2019 and immediately had a desire to own it and a subsequent passion to restore and renovate the house to allow it to recapture lost lustre after sitting vacant for some time.
We worked closely with the client on the renovation plans for the structural changes, the color palette and materials used in the interior design, as well as co-ordinating the works carried out by the re-modeling contractors.
Structurally, the existing chimneys were removed, and new ones built from the roofline up, the existing lightning protection system was reworked and upgraded as was the home security system. The guesthouse received new windows, new kitchenette, a clean white interior and a fully renovated bathroom.
A full garage renovation took place, including a new custom designed door and service entry, new lighting, siding, structural framing and a standing seam metal roof.
Internally, a new kitchen island, cabinet and pantry restoration took place, new banquette, new lighting, refinished floors were completed and a total bathroom renovations took place, including the installation of new hardware both on doors and windows.
